Meeting attended by Chuck Berneche, Mike O’Connor, Greg Staddon, Dennis Cook, Chris Parker, Greg Axelrod, John Chalfant, Miles Pollock, Mike Snyder, Charlie Carr, Pepper Hastings, Paul Hazboun, Amy Burwell, Nick Jamele, Jim Antonelli

• FMYSA logo contest winners introduced. Grand prize to Michelle Scates, 2 nd place went to both Evan Martin and Mitch parker. Congratulations Michelle, Evan and Mitch!
• Guest speaker – Rob Podowski of BSN League Direct. League Direct would like our uniform and equipment business
• Update on marketing task force by Charlie Carr
• Class “A” rec league proposal by Chuck Berneche; Chuck mentioned many neighboring communities now employing an “A” division
• Select update by Nick Jamele – Nick stressed importance for coaches to follow tryout schedules, altering a tryout time/location is unfair to kids/parents/coaches. Coaches must not circumvent system
• NTI – upcoming NTI board meeting to determine rules, regs as well as AA, elite divisions, etc. Details to be released late November. Questions and concerns were raised as to: games played on weeknights or weekends?, Major differences b/w NTI vs. Bear Creek?, FMYSA coaches don’t want this to be 5-7 FMYSA teams battling one another just to play NTI
• Toy Tournament – planned for 12/1-3, John Chalfant to deliver more info shortly
• AAYBA World Series – confirmed will be played in FM, July 07
• 6 age groups during 2 weeks of play, 3 per week
• 5 teams already committed to play
• FMYSA will market to LA, OK, Srn Tx to attract teams
• 9 local hotel properties will host participants
• Six Flags day each week on off day
• 7 game guarantee
• $595 per team
