FMYSA Board Meeting
December 21, 2007
Attendees :
Nick Jamele, Greg Axelrod, Charlie Carr, Pepper Hastings, Jim Antonelli, Greg Staddon, Jack Fultz, Amy Burwell.
- New Business – age group director status was covered as well as potential new directors.
- Softball – equipment director needed. Bob Nabors could possibly fill both positions.
- Equipment bags – Baseball; 4 still outstanding. Softball; no info available.
- Equipment check – date tba, board members and directors to assist.
- Spring schedule – registration and pertinent dates discussed; all viewable on the website,
- School flyers out,
- Info also on public access channel.
- Tournaments – discussion continued on which to host and when.
- Photographers – TSS presented at previous meeting on 11/26/07. Decision made to invite TSS to cover tournaments and Douglas and Douglas will continue with rec,
- A third outfit will present at next meeting scheduled for 1/27/08.
- Clinics/Marketing Opportunities – GA and PH are working with Tracy Black,
- BB and SB to be included.
- BB Task Force,
- GA informed board of status,
- 2 working groups,
- Top 3 items to be presented at next meeting.

- BB – Several new teams created at 9U, 11U and 12U,
- Numerous coaching changes on various teams.
- SB – JF putting a plan together as he assumes new role,
- Plans will be introduced at Jan meeting.
- Baseball w/FMYSA Logos – Nick advised that 50 dozen balls had been ordered,
- Rawling balls,
- No additional charge,
- PH to research Diamond balls and costs.
