All Coaches are required by FMYSA to obtain the NYSCA training certification. For the coaches new to the league or have not yet been certified, you will be required to go through the online training available at https://www.nays.org/nyscaonlineclinics_secure/. The certification cost is $25 at
the time of online registration and credit card information is required. When registering online, please enter the league affiliation as "Flower Mound Youth Sports Association" in the space provided.
There are only a few steps needed to become certified online, once at the web address above click the "join now" link and follow the instructions to join. After you have gained access to the online websites; 1.) go through the introduction to coaching youth sports website, and 2.) the coaching youth baseball or softball website (depending on your coaching preference). Once both sections are completed, be sure and print out your certification completion form to bring to the coaches meeting. Without the completion document, you will not be able to pick up your uniforms or equipment.

Renewals:
If you have already participated in the course and need to renew your
certification, then you should be receiving a quarterly magazine, which
includes an application for renewal. Please check this and renew your
membership prior to its expiration. The cost of the renewal is $20.00. You can
now renew online with NYSCA at their website, www.nays.org.
