Dear FMYSA Coaches,
With
Spring Break quickly approaching I need to remind you of two very important things:
#1) We
cannot use the fields during daytime hours during the week, as the TOFM field crews are actively
working on the fields during the day.
ONLY SCHEDULED PRACTICES are allowed in the normal evening
slots M-F.
This includes all 25 game fields. Same holds true on the weekends,
only scheduled practices
may occur on the weekends, so if you are looking for extra practice time, please email
[email protected]. Thanks!

YOU KEEP YOUR SAME ASSIGNED PRACTICE SLOT DURING THE SPRING BREAK PERIOD. There
are NO LEAGUE GAMES scheduled during Spring Break, but FMYSA is hosting the KC&BO Spring
Bling Tournament on 3/11 & 3/12…. i.e., see the
Black Out Calendar from last weeks message; it
can also be found on
Coaches Corner.
• It is
NEVER okay to enter a
CLOSED or LOCKED ball field or facility.
#2) If you are NOT going to use a scheduled practice,
you MUST notify [email protected]. There are
some teams that will likely take the week off,
while there are others that will be emailing (already are
emailing actually) looking for extra practice opportunities. If you know you are not going to use your
scheduled practice times DURING SPRING BREAK, please send in those cancellation emails now.Thanks!
I hope you enjoy Spring Break whether you are heading out to Spring Training, or another vacation
destination, or staying here and working on baseball and softball development, have a GREAT WEEK and
please abide by the two guidelines laid out above. It is very important we, FMYSA, and all of our
members do everything we can to support the TOFM Athletic Field Crew workers that do such an
amazing job for us.
PLEASE REMEMBER: Even though the kids are out for Spring Break the TOFM Athletic Field Crew
Workers are NOT off, and they have a lot of critical work to perform daily at all of our wonderful
ballfields, lets please show them the respect they deserve and stay off the ballfields, unless you have a
scheduled practice.
